Lori Bork Newcomer led the firm’s role in designing a new six story multi-family apartment building in Athens’ Downtown Historic District. We were retained to assist the developer’s architect of record, Niles Bolton Associates, in a design advisory role. Our scope included site and historical analysis of the property and the development of a concept design for massing and overall exterior design. The proposed design was approved unanimously by Athens’ Historic Preservation Commission.
