Interior Designer
Kjirsten is a dynamic individual, driven by unique projects in unique spaces. She focuses on spatial planning in her projects, which include working within existing footprints of unique buildings, changing the function of spaces, and updating clients’ existing spaces.
She brings to each project an honest and transparent atmosphere, both in her management of design and production staff on projects and through consistent communication with clients and contractors. Timelines, deliverables, and budgets are all important when starting and managing a project, and Kjirsten is adept on all fronts. She has a keen knowledge of materials that can be applied to both commercial and residential settings.
Kjirsten has an educational background in Landscape Architecture, having studied at the University of Georgia’s College of Environment & Design. While working with an architect early in her career, she quickly realized the importance of being a steward to aging history-rich buildings. Her professional design niche became reusing, repurposing, and reinventing spaces in a unique way. She enjoys taking clients through the creative process and challenging them to develop a functional, mindful, and individual space.
Kjirsten joined Arcollab in January 2026 after running her own firms, Kjirsten Ogburn Design and Relay Shop Architecture + Design, for 20 years.
