Franklin Frost

Senior Designer

Franklin is a graduate of Auburn University’s College of Architecture, Design and Construction. While at Auburn, he was selected to participate in the Rural Studio for his thesis year. As a team of four, he worked on a research project involving thinnings, small diameter trees usually cut for pulp wood, in collaboration with the US Forest Service. The project was to create a bathhouse facility for a primitive campsite in Talladega National Forest. After school, Franklin moved to Athens to work with Studio.BNA, a design build firm, where he was able to gain experience in metal and wood fabrication while also working as a designer in the office. As a designer, Franklin had the opportunity to work on a variety of residential, commercial, and adaptive reuse projects.

The knowledge and skills from working in design build help communicate ideas to clients, contractors and fabricators to create the best solutions for each project.
